These include dance and movement explorations that entail Sufi whirling, ritual belly dance, polarity dance, archetypes in dance, trance and blessing dance, goddess invocation dance, chakra and five elements dance, and finally Prayer dance from various traditions.
She attended 900 hours of yoga, meditation and tantra practice with Agama Yoga School, where she was offered a style of Yoga that combines authentic wisdom from India and Tibet with a Western mindset, giving her the rare opportunity to practice forgotten and sacred teachings.
Chandra continues to develop and strengthen her healing skills. She participated in advanced professional training courses (2012, 2013) with the father of Rebirthing Breathwork himself, Leonard Orr. In addition, she participated in other advanced Rebirthing seminars in Germany and India. MASTERS I WAS INSPIRED BY THE MOST
Haidakhan Wale Baba
Haidakhan Wale Baba lived in the the foothills of the Himalayas, in he Kumaon region, the birth place of many of Indias great saints. He was acknowledged as Shiva Mahavatar Babaji, the eternal manifestation of God in human form.
Babaji appeared in 1970, as a youth of 18 or 20 years, in a holy cave at the foot of Kumaon Mount Kailash at Haidakan.
His divine power was experienced in many ways: in September of 1970 He ascended Mounth Kailash and sat on the summit without food or sleep for 45 days; several people saw Him simultaneously in different places; He healed the sick; He brought transformation into many people’s lives.
His followers maintain that Haidakhan Babaji is a Mahavatar – “a human manifestation of God, not born from woman. In September 1971, Haidakhan Babaji, in a sworn testimony, convinced the judge of the court in Haldwani that he was the “Old Hairakhan Baba,” thought to be active in that region in the years 1860–1922, and that he had the right to use the ashrams in Kathgaria and Haidakhan. Mahavatar being is a human manifestation of the Divine who can materialize a body at will.
Many people, from all over the world, have mystically been drawn to Babaji through extraordinary events, dreams and visions and are receiving His Blessings.
He urged the people to „follow the religion that is in your heart”. Babaji said that he had come to revive the eternal and ageless religion, the Sanatan Dharma, the three basic principles: Truth, Simplicity and Love.
In his living years he taught intensively the importance to live a simple life with loving principles in truth. He explained: “I have come to guide humanity to a higher path. I do not belong to any particular religion, but respect all religions. I seek the elevation of all mankind.
Haidakhan Babaji stressed the unity of all religions as expressed in the following words: “In any town there is always a central place; all the roads in the town or from out of town lead to that central place. Similarly, all religions lead to one point, and that is God Himself; and therefore following any religion you will ultimately reach God. He said: “We are all one with each other and with God. “You should seek harmony in everything you do.”
He asked his devotees to practice japa, the repetition of God’s name, while they were doing Karma Yoga. He explained that God’s name is the most powerful sound of the Creation.
He especially recommended the use of the mantra “ॐ namaḥ śivāy” because of its protective qualities, but also stated that one can use any God’s name “his religion teaches.” The mantra is always written internationally simplified as “Om Namah Shivay” in books about Babaji written in english or other languages.
Babaji advocated on behalf of the less-fortunate. He stated: “you should look to the areas of your countries where people are poverty-stricken and helpless and then do all you can to raise their standard of living, teaching them cleanliness and high morals. To serve the needy truly and from the heart is true service to God.
Haidakhan Babaji was often asked who he was. He made the following assertions about himself:
As mentioned above Haidakhan Babaji maintained that he was identical with Hairakhan Baba (also spelled as Hariakhan).
It appears that Haidakhan Babaji pointed out or implied a few times that he was identical with Mahavatar Babaji described in Yogandanda’s “Autobiography of a Yogi. This claim is apparently disputed by the Self-Realization Fellowship, the society founded by Paramahansa Yogananda.
Haidakhan Babaji would sometimes refer to himself as “messenger of revolution”. He often urged the followers to “spread his Message.
On one occasion Babaji stated: “I am Bhole Baba (Simple Father). I am nobody and nothing. I am only like a mirror in which you can see yourself. I am like a fire. Don’t keep too far away or you will not get warmth. But don’t get too near or you may burn yourself. Learn the right distance.
Gaura Devi recorded Babaji saying: “I am no one’s Guru, but I am the Guru of gurus.
Haidakhan Babaji was recorded saying: “I am everywhere – in your every breath. I have come to help you realize unity beyond division. I will show you a freedom you have not imagined. You must seek that unity from whence there is awareness that we are all one. Seek harmony in all that you do. I am harmony. If you are in peace, I am in peace. If you are troubled, I am troubled. If you are happy, I am happy. Be happy. Have faith – everything depends on faith.”
Babaji spent most of His 14 year incarnation at Haidakhan were he established a beautiful ashram, and near the village of Chilianuala He built a large and beautiful Temple
Babaji left his body on 14 February 1984. He had come to give a message to the world, and having done this, He left.
Sathya Sai Baba
Sathya Sai Baba (1926-2011) was considered to be an avatar, the incarnation of God in human form – One who manifests all human values in their purity and perfection, showing in human life the power, wisdom, and knowing beyond the comprehension of man. He was believed to be the reincarnation of Sai Baba of Shirdi, a South Indian saint and guru of the 19th century.
Sai Baba, as he was often known, lived primarily at his ashram in Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh, South India. He only once left his homeland, on a short visit to Africa, but he oversaw a worldwide organization of 1,200 centers (branches) in 126 countries engaged in humanitarian works and spiritual leadership.
“I had the pleasure to be in Sathya Sai Baba’s presence several times between 2005-2009. Being at His ashram in Puttaparthi, India, is one of pure joy. One of the greatest and most profound experiences of my life took place there, while near Sai Baba. His Being radiated peace, harmony, and such a strong love that I suddenly entered into a state of deep meditation without any effort and a profound transformation took place. I learned from Him that life is so much more than physical manifestation, and that one must directly experience the energy behind manifestation in order to have a sense of it, since there are no words that can describe it.“
Swami Vivekananda Saraswati
Swami Vivekananda (b. 1962), as he is known, is the founder, director, and head teacher of the Agama Yoga School in Thailand. With a background as an engineer, he was drawn to Yoga for its practical and rational approach to spirituality, a living science based on common sense and joy. He is one of the few Western tantric teachers well versed in Kundalini Yoga, Tibetan spiritual practices, and Gnostic Christianity, who additionally specializes in the intensely spiritual and very rarely taught Tantra Yoga of Kashmiri Shaivism.
“It has been a privilege to learn about Yoga and meditation directly from Swami Vivekananda, as well as to teach at his Yoga school on Koh Phangan Island, Southern Thailand.
I completed the intensive 12-week Agama Yoga Teacher Training in 2010, and went on to advance my yogic personal practice with Agama over the following five years (2010-2015), completing 24 month-long intensive study and practice modules.“
Leonard Orr (b. 1938) is the American founder of the worldwide Rebirthing Breathwork movement. Considered a pioneer of “prosperity consciousness,” he is intensely spiritual, having devoted more than 40 years of his life to spreading the ideas and healing power of Rebirthing Breathwork around the globe. He has authored more than 20 books in over a dozen languages.
As a teen he intended to become a minister until a series of “spiritual accidents” led to his discovery of Rebirthing, which he began to facilitate for others in 1974. By 1975, he had founded his first training center for Rebirthing in Walton, New York (USA), and since this time, more than 100,000 Rebirthers have been trained.
Orr describes the breathing rhythm of Rebirthing as “the most powerful form of Prana Yoga. The secret to life and death in the body is breathing.” His own practices have evolved in his quest to fulfill his goal, which he says has always been “to enlighten people spiritually and to make them spiritually self-sufficient.”
“I studied first-hand with Leonard Orr both at his Inspiration University (Virginia, USA) and later on in Germany. He is a totally integrated teacher such that just being around him is a Rebirthing process by itself. He is always kind, open, and positive, able to impart deep insights about Rebirthing Breathwork and its power in practice. His loving and caring presence purifies the mind, heart, and soul. Spending time with him is simply an initiation into higher dimensions.”
Dr. Komin Vlagyimir
“I studied at this Institute during 2001-2004 about the power of breath, Rebirthing techniques, holotropic breathwork, and many other subjects. At the time, his teachings changed my life and steered me toward deeper involvement with Rebirthing methods.”
